Steven Lopez is a proud native of McAllen, Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in international relations and Global Studies. Steven earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law. During law school, Steven served as a student-attorney with the St. Mary’s Criminal Justice Clinic, representing income-qualified clients facing criminal charges. During his 3L year, Steven was selected to join the St. Mary’s National Alternative Dispute Resolution team, where he competed in multiple negotiations and client-counseling competitions.

Since graduating, Steven has cultivated significant litigation experience through his handling of various civil disputes arising from personal injury claims, breach of contract, and real estate matters involving title to land, landlords/tenants, and wrongful foreclosure.
